Josh Cottell

Josh is a first-class graduate of Oxford University and Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and works primarily as a musical director.
He was most recently Musical Director on the UK tour of Greatest Days. In 2022, Josh was Assistant MD for the award-winning revival of Billy Elliot (Curve). Other recent credits include Musical Director for Jack and the Beanstalk (Newbury Corn Exchange) and Associate MD for both Vanara: The Legend (Hackney Empire) and Zorro! (Charing Cross). For drama schools, he has recently MD'd The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Bird College) and Sweet Charity (Italia Conti, also Orchestrator).
Josh will soon join the 2024 London revival of
Starlight Express as Keys 3/Cover Conductor.
